    C1 Advanced Word Formation – test 1. Ćwiczysz Use of English Part 3 en el texto sobre microplásticos en el medio ambiente. Test se centra en la formación de sustantivos a partir de verbos y adjetivos – el tipo más común de hueco en esta parte del examen.

    Los sufijos de sustantivos más importantes en el nivel C1:

    • -ence / -ance: present → presence,
    • -tion / -ation: reveal → revelation, regulate → regulation,
    • -ment / -ity: commit → commitment, necessary → necessity.

    ¿Cómo resolver?

    En el examen Reading and Use of English Part 3 recibes un texto con ocho huecos. Junto a cada hueco se proporciona una palabra base, de la que debes formar una palabra que encaje en la oración. Aquí es igual: ejemplo (0) y ocho huecos, y la palabra base está entre paréntesis justo después del hueco. Primero determina qué parte del discurso necesitas (sustantivo, adjetivo, adverbio, verbo), luego verifica si el sentido de la oración requiere una negación o un plural.

    Este es el primer test de la serie C1 Advanced Word Formation. Las siguientes pruebas requerirán transformaciones cada vez más complejas.

    Plastic everywhere

    Microplastics have become one of the most (0) widespread (WIDE) forms of pollution on the planet. Their (1) (PRESENT) in seawater was first reported in the 1970s.
